The thyme leaves, after dehydration, become brown-green and give off their scent when crumbled. Their taste is very strong, slightly caustic and rich. Along with the dried flowers, thyme leaves are used as spice for flavoring of different foods, such as fish, meat, various sauces and soups. Thyme is one of the basic ingredients for benedictine liquer.
Our amazing thyme is cultivated in sunny fields of central and south Greece, following the principles of organic agriculture.
All the initial processing stages (collecting / dehydration) are made with hands, while rubbing is accomplished with adequate equipment – developed by us – to preserve the highest quality characteristics of our herbs.
Thyme is available in glass jars and plastic reusable doypacks, as well as HORECA packaging for professional use.
