How to Use

Herbs are widely used in cooking and beverage making.

Try them in your cooked foods, roasts and all salads; you will immediately feel the effect in taste and dish character. 

If you want to make a hot beverage to sooth a sore throat, you only have to boil water, add your favourite herb – or a combination of them – in your cup and let it rest for 5 minutes. You can add honey for reinforcement of the immune system and great taste, and enjoy your hot drink!

Oregano is considered to be the “queen of kitchen”.

You could try it with casserole recipes, fried foods, salads and roasts.

It adds great taste to cooked food in tomato or lemon juice, it lifts up the flavor in salads and characterizes all roasts.

Oregano has an unlimited use and fits well with all kind of meat (beef, pork, poultry) as well as seafood.

It is a perfect ingredient for sauces, salads and vegetables (roasted and boiled). It accompanies most kinds of cheese and appetizers with eggs and olives.

You can bake or toast bread, spread virgin olive oil, salt and oregano, and serve with all foods.

In case of cough, you could make a beverage adding a lot of honey though, since oregano has a bitter taste in this form. 

Secret advice: place some oregano in your kitchen cupboards to keep ants away and also use it to smoke meat or fishes.

Thyme is regarded as a relative species to oregano and has similar but milder taste.

It can also be used instead of oregano in all kinds of meat and fish, in salads and vegetables.

Make marinades with honey, mustard seeds, citrus fruits juice and garlic. Place the meat in a bag with the marinade, put it in the fridge for 2 hours or more, and get ready to enjoy unique tastes!
